ITVX announces content partnership with STUDIOCANAL
Over a thousand hours of content added to subscriber offer
ITV today announced a partnership with STUDIOCANAL to carry its STUDIOCANAL PRESENTS service, which will bolster ITVX Premium, the streamer’s subscription tier, giving ITVX subscribers access to hundreds of quality films and television series from STUDIOCANAL’s renowned catalogue.
Expected to launch on ITVX Premium this Spring, the deal will see over 400 films added to the subscription tier of the service, which is available from £5.99 per month. ITVX Premium also provides subscribers with access to BritBox’s catalogue and all of ITVX’s wide range of content ad-free.
STUDIOCANAL PRESENTS will give subscribers the opportunity to access a curated selection of top films and series from STUDIOCANAL’s extensive library showcasing critically acclaimed family favourites Paddington and Paddington 2, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, and treasured classics like The Railway Children starring Jenny Agutter
STUDIOCANAL PRESENTS also features award-winning home grown and international films such as Legend starring Tom Hardy, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy starring Gary Oldman, Non Stop starring Liam Neeson, The Imitation Game starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Apocalypse Now starring Marlon Brando, David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive, Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth and The Deer Hunter, starring Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken.
The regularly evolving selection offers something for everyone, catering for action/ adventure fans with films including Rambo, Rush directed by Ron Howard and starring Chris Hemsworth, and 80s classic Highlander. Fans of romantic drama can look forward to The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society starring Lily James, while comedy fans can enjoy favourites like Alan Patridge:Alpha Papa, starring Steve Coogan and the acclaimed Four Lions directed by Chris Morris
