In John Water’s satirical spoof on suburban society, Serial Mom, Kathleen Turner plays Beverly Sutphin, a picture-perfect housewife, utterly devoted to her husband and two children. She appears to be the ideal homemaker, cut from the cloth of the American Dream. But just like that Dream, there’s a seedier side to Beverly her family doesn’t know about. Because beneath her veneer of domesticity, Beverly is a twisted serial killer. Her fanaticism for her family drives a fierce desire to protect them at all costs.
