Here’s the latest from Blu-ray.com
For the week of August 21st, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release Tim Story’s The Blackening, starring Antoinette Robertson, Dewayne Perkins, Sinqua Walls, Grace Byers, X Mayo and Melvin Gregg.
Description: The Blackening centers around a group of Black friends who reunite for a Juneteenth weekend getaway only to find themselves trapped in a remote cabin with a twisted killer. Forced to play by his rules, the friends soon realize this ain’t no motherf****** game. Lionsgate’s releases of The Blackening contain Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include filmmaker commentary, several featurettes, a deleted scene, outtakes and a theatrical trailer. In addition to standard packaging, a Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook will also be available.
Also new from Lionsgate this week is a Blu-ray for Nicole Holofcener’s You Hurt My Feelings, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tobias Menzies, Arian Moayed, Amber Tamblyn, David Cross and Owen Teague.
Description: A novelist’s longstanding marriage is suddenly upended when she overhears her husband giving his honest reaction to her latest book.
